SIBM Pune was established in 1978 and is the flagship institute under the Faculty of Management of the Symbiosis International University. Since its inception 39 years ago, it has indeed come a long way to become a leading B-School of India.

The demanding training at SIBM Pune turns students into industry-ready professionals prepared to take on corporate responsibilities. The institute thereby holds an outstanding placement record.

The institute has tie-ups with various organizations for co-administering certain selected courses of the curricula. This is done to enrich and update the practical knowledge of students with current business trends and practices.

SIBM Pune is a student-driven institute, with MBA candidates encouraged to participate in the decision-making process that shapes their future as well as that of the institute. The Student's Council at SIBM Pune is the student body responsible and accountable for all activities conducted on campus throughout the year. The teams consist of students from the first and second year led by coordinators. These coordinators, along with the President of the Student's Council, form an executive body to oversee all activities.

The teams work in the interest of SIBM Pune, the student community, industry and alumni in keeping the vision of the institute and striving towards excellence.

Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes).

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Master of Business Administration (Innovation and Entrepreneurship)

Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.

How to Apply


For seeking admission to the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune students should complete the following procedure:

Step I:

The applicant must register and pay for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) 2019. SNAP 2019 test fee is INR 1750/- (non-refundable). Following are the options for payment.

i) Billdesk Payment Gateway   ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway iii) Indian Bank Gateway iv) Demand Draft.

Step II:

While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SIBM-Pune in the same application form.A programme fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) is to be paid to SIBM-Pune for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s).

2) Demand Draft(s) should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 5:00 pm on November 26, 2019. Demand Drafts reaching after this will not be considered and will be returned to the respective candidates.
