Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts and Nutritional Sciences (SSCANS) is a constituent of Symbiosis International University, founded in 2016, and is the first school fully dedicated to offering niche qualifications in culinary science and arts in the country. SSCA caters to the need of the Food Industry to train and develop specialized Culinary, Hospitality and Food Processing professionals.
The food processing and food technology industry is witnessing stupendous growth post pandemic as packaged foods with higher shelf life on offer has an increased demand. By 2025 the Indian Food Processing market is estimated to reach $535 bn and growing at a remarkable compound annual growth rate of 15.2%. This is resulting in high demand for trained professionals with business background to be part of this growth story.
In order to cater to this niche requirement, SSCA has commenced MBA (Food Technology and Food Enterprise Management) from AY 2024-25 which is an innovative 2-year, full-time Master’s degree program especially designed to deliver world-class Food Tech and Food Business Management education to groom professionals to lead the food sector for FMCG and HORECA segments.
Other than the above, SSCA has two undergraduate and two niche Diploma programmes in our basket and our flagship Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts has been one of the most sought after culinary degree in the country. The Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Culinary Management trains youngsters for supervisory positions in Hospitality and Service industry.

The applicant must register and pay for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) 2019. SNAP 2019 test fee is INR 1750/- (non-refundable). Following are the options for payment.

Step II:
While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SSSS in the same application form. A programme fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) is to be paid to SSSS for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s).
1) SNAP Test fee & programme(s) of the institute is non-refundable.
2) Demand Draft(s) should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 5:00 pm on November 26, 2019. Demand Drafts reaching after this will not be considered and will be returned to the respective candidates.
3) The last date for payment for SSSS is 17th January 2020 (Friday)
